Co-Director Receives Book Award
KUASIA’s Co-Director, Dr. Aiko Takeuchi-Demirci’s book, “Contraceptive Diplomacy: Reproductive Politics and Imperial Ambitions in the United States and Japan” has won the 2020 John Whitney Hall Book Prize sponsored by the Association for Asian Studies. Consul-General of People’s Republic of China in Istanbul, Honorable Cui Wei visited Koc University on May 14, 2018. He talked about Middle East and Chinese Middle East Policy. The event was held at 5:30 pm at Founders’ Hall.
Third Nask Meeting
Asian students at Koc University got together for the third NASK (Network of Asian Students at Koc) meeting. A diverse cohort of students from India, Singapore, Indonesia, China, and Pakistan planned exciting events for the Spring 2019 term and learned about KUASIA over delicious snacks.
